My Criminal Life is a free multiplayer crime game that runs in any web browser, on a computer or a phone. Players start in Noob City with $100 and a cardboard box, then pull crimes, train at the gym, take jobs, buy property and climb 16 ranks, from Nobody to Untouchable. Gangs, a casino, a newspaper and boss fights fill out the city. It's for players 18 and over.
My Criminal Life is a free multiplayer crime game that runs in any web browser, on a computer or a phone, with nothing to download. Players start in Noob City with $100 and a cardboard box. From there it's up to them: pull crimes for cash and experience, train strength, agility and guard at the gym, study, take a job that pays out every day, and save for a better place to live, up to a private island. A rank ladder of 16 steps runs from Nobody to Untouchable.
The city is drawn in a graphic-novel style and laid out on an illustrated map. Players form gangs and declare wars, team up to take down bosses on the Most Wanted list, gamble in a casino whose odds are published, get married at St. Jude's Church and read the city's own newspaper.
The game first opened on August 28, 2013, and went quiet by the end of 2016. Its owner, Marc Cocco, is rebuilding it. It's in alpha now: sign-ups opened on October 15, 2026, and progress will be reset before the full launch. Players must be 18 or older.
My Criminal Life opens. It stays a small game with a few regulars.
Its busiest year.
The owner is busy with other projects, players drift off, and by the end of the year the game has gone quiet.
Marc Cocco restores the old files and starts rebuilding the game: new art, a new city map, a new casino, and a lot of fixing.
Sign-ups open for the alpha. Progress will be reset before the full launch.

Something like this works, word for word if you like:
“My Criminal Life is in alpha. It’s still being built, so what you see here may change, and player progress will be reset before the full launch.”
Don’t present it as finished, and don’t promise features or dates for us. If you’re not sure about something, ask.
